Family Unwrapping

We Offer a Range of Services to Meet Your Needs

Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC)

Our licensed foster homes receive 40 hours of preservice training as well as ongoing training to work with children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral needs. Our QP will meet weekly with the foster parent and child to coordinate treatment and provide support to the family.

Family Foster Care (FFC)

Family Foster Care (FFC) provides a stable, nurturing environment for children and adolescents who do not require therapeutic or behavioral health interventions. FFC homes offer a safe and supportive setting where children can thrive while social workers and caregivers work toward family reunification or permanency planning. Foster parents receive training and ongoing support to ensure they can meet the emotional and developmental needs of the children in their care. Our QP will meet with the family 1x a month. This program focuses on providing consistency, stability, and compassionate caregiving to help children adjust and succeed in a family-based setting.

Intensive Alternative Family Treatment (IAFT)

Intensive Alternative Family Treatment (IAFT) when a therapeutic foster child displays severe behavioral or emotional needs, IAFT is an option. IAFT is a temporary program that allows one child in the home due to the severity of the child’s needs, allowing the child to receive in-home family based foster care options along with therapy. The IAFT foster families are professionally trained. Additionally the service entails weekly staffing by a Licensed Clinician, Supervisor and Qualified Professional to ensure the child is receiving the appropriate services. The agency’s Medical Director provides Psychiatric over-site of this program. Our QP will meet weekly with the IAFT family, as well as check in daily. The goal of IAFT is to “ensure long lasting recovery and successful transition home or to a lower level of care.”

Rapid Response (RR) Service

Our emergency based program accepts children/adolescents between the ages of 5-19 in both the Vaya and Partners MCO. Our RR are considered emergency homes and children can remain in the home for up to 2 months. One child is allowed in the home. Our Foster Parents receive specialized training to manage the child’s behaviors. Our QP will provide support, clinical supervision weekly, CFT and daily check in.

Enhanced Therapeutic Foster Care (ETFC)

Enhanced Therapeutic Foster Care (ETFC) is another emergency based program in the Partners catchment that allows a 30 day passthrough with no CCA for children between the ages of 5-20. Our parents and QP receive specialized training to meet the child’s needs. Our QP will meet with the family weekly, as well as daily check ins. The foster home may take more than one child to be determined at placement. Children can remain in the home for up to 2 months.

Emergency Respite

Emergency Respite is a vital service via contract with DSS that provides short-term, emergency placements for foster children when their primary caregivers need immediate relief. This program ensures children have a safe, temporary home while giving foster families the flexibility to manage emergencies, reduce stress, and maintain stability.
